About the Event
We're inspired by the Béret Baguette, an extremely picturesque bicycle ride that takes place in Paris every summer. Think of it as the French answer to the Tweed Run.
Don't you think it's about time that San Francisco had a Béret Baguette ride of its own? Bike Handsome and I had a wonderful time organizing the SF Tweed Ride last year. So we thought "Hey, why not do it all over again, but in French?"
We're planning on making this an easy, sociable ride where style is more important than speed. And of course there will be a picnic party at the end. RSVP on Facebook and join us for all the fun!
Join us for a leisurely 5 mile bike ride from Dolores Park to a French-themed picnic in Hellman Hollow (Golden Gate Park). See and be seen with Parisian flair as we celebrate this fun tradition of berets, baguettes, and bikes!
You can enter to win a bike from Schwinn Bicycles! We'll also have prizes for best-dressed, best picnic, and prettiest bike, plus more great giveaways.
Bring a picnic lunch, a blanket, and plenty of good cheer.
At the picnic, you can enter to win this free bike from Schwinn!
There will also be prizes for:
- Best Dressed
- Prettiest Bike
- Best Picnic
- and more giveaways!
