Bike Fashion: Julia Van Os for Harper's Bazaar

Last May, venerable fashion mag Harper's Bazaar decided to go around the world in eight outfits. This conceptual trip was accomplished by styling the lovely Julia Van Os in eight rather disparate looks. Of course I was captivated by the outfit honoring the model's Dutch roots. Velvet heels for bike-riding? Yes, please!

I love the basic black and white pieces set off by a pop of color. Here's how to get the look:

Colorblocked Lace Fit and Flare Dress / Yakkay Paris Oilskin Bike Helmet / Womens Black Lace BloomersTandem NY Skirt Weight / Spurcycle Bicycle BellLoslandifen Velvet Platform High Heel Sandals / ILISHOP Leather Drawstring Bucket Bag / Papillionaire Sommer 3-Speed Bike / Roberto Cavalli Floral Silk Scarf / Master Chef Coat with Black Trim / MAC Matte Lipstick Russian Red / Small Sailor Lapel Pin / MAC Demi Wipes

Check out the rest of the shoot on the Art of Fashion Blog. Look number one is pretty much ripped from my closet (see what I mean?!).
