Transitioning your wardrobe from winter to spring isn’t always easy. When the weather goes from hot to cold and back again, it can be hard to keep up (and that’s without rain being thrown into the mix). Lucky for you, we’ve rounded up five key pieces for the new season that’ll save you from fashion limbo. From leather jackets to bold patterns, this is what to wear on those temperamental weather days.

Slip dress

Giving a nostalgic nod to the 90s, the slinky slip dress has made a comeback for SS16 and we couldn’t be happier. Not convinced it’s warm enough for spring? Wear it the way it’s meant to be this season: layered over a T-shirt, polo neck or even trousers. The midi length makes it perfect for riding, too.

Patterned scarf

Gingham, graphic stripes and bold pattern were all-over the SS16 catwalks and they prove spring style is anything but boring. Stepping away from a tired palette of greys and blacks, bright colour and print is an easy way to refresh your wardrobe. Ease yourself in slowly with a statement accessory, like a headscarf (it’ll even double up to keep dreaded helmet hair under control.)

Tokyobike Bisou Bike

Lightweight, comfortable and coming in shades perfect for the new season, the Tokyobike Bisou Bike is the ultimate blend of fashion and function. Designed to be easily fitted with mudguards, racks or baskets, it even comes with 7-Speed Shimano gearing and upright handlebars with brown grips and a matching saddle.

Leather jacket

It may be time to put away your winter coat and heavy knits, but there’s no need to pack away your leather jacket just yet. Be it winter or spring, the leather jacket looks good and protects you against rain and cold (the dream). For a more elegant take, go for a one in a pastel hue.

Ankle boots

Skeptical about wearing ankle boots through spring? To make it work, it’s all about that all-important gap (the one between your knee and ankle that is). Follow this simple rule and you can celebrate the still-weak sunshine and be ready for unexpected showers. Problem solved.
